The phrase, “As simple as riding a bicycle” has become even more relevant today with the increased popularity of EBikes.
An EBike, for those not familiar, is a bicycle equipped with a small battery-powered motor that assists with pedaling. It is the motor that triggers special attention for insurance protection. A normal bicycle, that operates 100% on human power, is included as personal property and covered under the liability on your homeowners policy. Once the motor is added, coverage becomes complicated.
